    Default Buying Licences

I'm a Georgia guy and have been buying my "NR fishing licence for $41" to fish the park. Took me a few years to figure this was cheaper (especially when it was $26) than buying several 3 and 10 day permits during the year and less hassel of going to the visitors center on the other side of Gatlinburg to get my permit when I'd rather be fishing.

Can you buy a licence on line for Tennessee yet? Also, is there a better place to buy a permit that would be more convienient for a guy coming up 441 from the Atlanta area? I'm really hoping to be able to by a permit on line. It would add a couple of hours for fishing for me when I finally get to the park.

    Thanks guys-
    Hollis

I think you may be able to purchase your license from this link.

If you are just fishing in the Park you may want to look into buying a NC license. Will save you money and can be purchased on line as well.

I thought the old "NR fishing licence" was $60. That must have been 6-7 years ago and I've never looked into it.

    THanks for the tip!
