    I always use 6X in the Park for dries and 5x with my sinking line for larger nymphs, streamers and wets. I fish with pretty small dry flies 16-18 and maybe it is my technique, but anything bigger screws up the drift.

    Big bushy dries and terrestrials will really twist up tippet that is too light to the point that the tippet will curl up into clumps of twisted tippet. So, I will use 4 or 5 x for a big stimulator or hopper. Otherwise, I'm a 5X and 6X kind of guy.
