There is a great article on the Klinkhammer in the December 2006 issue of Fly Fisherman magazine I received a few days ago. It has the recipe and step by step instructions. I am heading to LRO after lunch today to pick up some of the materials that I don't already have such as the #14 Partridge Klinkhammer GRS15ST hooks.

Looks like a fun one to tie. I will try to keep y'all posted on how the fish liked it around Tremont and Metcalf Bottoms.

Purchase the December 2006 Fly Fisherman magazine and look at and read pages 35 through 37 and 59. Hans Van Klinken discusses, and illustrates with pictures, the tying process for the Klinkhamer special. You can't go wrong when you get the rescipee from the original inventor.
