    thanks Griff, that was a blast making some of those...and fairly simple once you get the dark over/light under down.....I just tyed on a #12 2x...did you use a different hook...

    I used the standard green weenie hook, size 12 Mustad 9671. And your right, it looks kind of intimidating until you try it and see how easy it really is. Post some pics.

    me thinks me black chenile is bad.....it broke alot and shedded onto the chartruse.....other than that, it was a blast...this is a fun fly to tie....think I'll have to do some more of these after I visit LRO next weekend and get some new black chenile.....
