    Default T.E. Shuler?

Hello Mr Shuler. I just bought the recent article of North Carolina Sportsman and observed that you were featured in the article. My question to you is if the brookie your holding was a true spec? The article made it sound like it was the real thing. If it is a native I will have to say that is the largest one I have ever seen. Anyway I was just curious and thought I would ask you since you post here. Thanks

The Brookie I was holding was not a Southern Appalachin Strain of Brook Trout. It was a stocked Northern Strain Brook Trout which are as common as Brookies get.
I didnt write the artcile, a freind of mine did who is a writer for the magazine, Don Rounzion.
We didnt get into the secret places in that area, or much into where the wild fish would be for sake of keeping the pressure off those fragile species that are at much higher elevations and undisclosed locations.
