    Default Smallies

I am going to be up there this weekend, where can I find some smallies to hook up with? I have fished that area probably for 8-10 years so I know the area fairly well.

    BamaAgteacher,

I you want to fish for smallmouth bass in the Little River it is best downstream from Townsend. I would consider renting a canoe from River John.

They can shuttle you upstream from their beautiful spot on the river and you can float down to your car. There are other places on the Little River where you can wade in. Also the West Prong of the Little Pigeon that runs through Sevierville provides excellent smallmouth fishing with a lot of access.
