Here's a granny taking her young granddaughter camping for the first time. Picked OSF State Park for close proximity with an outdoors feel. I'm a newbie to fly fishing, she's a newbie to camping. For me, I've only tried fishing flyrod for trout and that's precious little (husband and I just back from outstanding LRO school weekend before last). G'daughter city kid who thinks a couple hours power outage is an exciting pioneer experience of roughing it...but she is yet quite young and maleable.

Any suggestions on fishing the Duck River around the state park much appreciated. Any list member with patience to answer babystep questions like what fish to expect, and what to offer them in the way of bait on a flyrod, etc. much appreciated.

Many thanks,
