Default East Prong Report

After a long absence from fishing, it finally worked out to be able to spend some time in the Park yesterday. Started just above Met. Bott. and didn't see much. Moved on up closer to Elkmont and was able to net a few. One with a tellico nymph which a nice size bow hit like a linebacker, then switched over to a light cahill and landed a couple of browns, one was well over 12". Then, we finished the day working downstream a while and landed a couple more bows. It was nice to be in the Park again, let me tell you. Rather be there than almost anywhere. Can't leave out one of the most important parts of the trip, a welcome visit with the fine folks at LRO while restocking the fly box. Thanks for reading this post and have a good day, also, don't forget about Troutfest this weekend.
May you fish more than you wish for.
