Default TU Plate!

Does anyone know where we stand with this. I now on 5/26 we were 275 away, but where are we now. If there is anyone else out there that hasn't done it we need your help.

The last update I recieved from TU said we had 250 left...immediately following I went to the web site TUPLATE.ORG and it said we had 275 left which is where is still currently stands! This news letter was recieved at least 3 weeks ago...I hope we make it!

I spent yesterday on the Cumberland River with Dr. Dick Davis. He's been the ramrod on the license plate project and has worked his tail off getting it to this point. We spent a lot of time discussing the project, and he's assured me that the goal will be reached and soon we will all be sporting pretty new plates.

His comments were that he'd worked too hard on this to see it not pass. So he's put in place a guarantee to insure it passes. Once we spoke of this, our conversation never again turned to whether or not the plate would sell, but how good all that money would be for conservation projects in TN.

SO, any of you who might have been holding off to see if the plate reached the needed 1000 pre sells, I'd say go ahead and get your plate.....because it will be a reality soon.
