Default Elkmont 7/3/08 report

I took off of work a little early and headed up to Elkmont yesterday afternoon and started were I left off last time. I ended up doing really well ending up with several rainbows and browns almost a 50/50 ratio. Most of my fish came on a pheasant tail nymph size 18 dropped behind a never sink caddis size 16. As it got later in the day more fish came off of the never sink. I noticed some mayfly’s coming off of the water earlier on in the afternoon with a big hatch of yellow sally’s coming later on as it started to get dark.

Keep up the good fishing. I need a few lessons in a couple of months. You're making me really Tn. homesick.
