Post Knoxville Videos » A tour inside Conservation Fisheries

I thought I would share this interesting video...

Published July 10, 2009
Conservation Fisheries is based and Knoxville and run by two UT graduates who studied under David Etnier, of snail darter fame. They raise small, endangered fishes and release them in streams.

Hi Shawn,

Thank you for sharing this with us. These people are doing and have done some exceptional work. Especially interesting is the Smoky Madtom. You mentioned David. I have spent a few days on the stream with him. I know a lot of his former students. He is a great guy. I refer to his book often especially when I'm trying to tie a good baitfish pattern.
