I have been looking for something different to show the trout this spring when everybody else is fishing zebra midges. I recently received Modern Midges for Christmas, and it really opened my eyes to all the possible midge patterns out there. On my last outing I did really well with a dark olive buzzer pattern I got from that book. Here is one that I am really looking forward to showing the trout next time TVA stops generating.

I really like some of the colors that are coming out now for bead heads (or maye they've been out and I just didn't know it). That's a sharp looking midge. I need to look into that book. I love fishing midges.

That is one sweet looking fly! I am just getting into using glass beads. Keep us posted on your results.
