Hit Raven Fork today. I caught 6 fish in all. Here are pictures of 4 of them. I will never admit to it again, but the 17 and 19 inch ones were both tail-hooked, but it was a **** good hookset.

You foul hook any fish, if you can't bring it in directly you BREAK OFF. Catching one by the tail I bet he was fought for a good while.. screaming reels.. oh yeah.. lot of fun there sonny. I just wonder how he got them to lay so still on those rocks while he got his camera out and took his photographs? Smart *** pineman? No I am an ethical fly fisherman. Snaggers can be proud of their hook-set, should have been more proud of their release. |

I've never noticed a difference in time in reeling a fish in between foul hooking and a correct hook set. Maybe it's because I rarely catch a larger fish.
