boone area newbie
Another newbie saying hello from the boone area of n.c. I started flyfishing when I was eight under the guidance of my grandfather on the eastern slopes of grandfather mountain. That has been 38 years ago and I still enjoy it just as much now as I did then. I look forward to participating on the forum. Thanks, yonder

I lived in boone for a while after graduation. It is a wonderful place. Lived off King Street up the hill behind Mast General store. Welcome to the board, and by all means, please post some reports from your home waters.

Thanks. I am afraid that all of the wisdom I can provide is simply to slow down, breathe easily, and enjoy the scenery. Trout are a bonus but not the total sum of the day. Thanks again. Glad to be here.
