I took a step back from dealing with all the packing and house buying or deal, and hit the Clinch after work untill dark 30 last night. I got in the water around 5:30. Caught I would say around 25-30 fish. I caught a mixed bag, browns, rainbows and brookies. The section I fished most have been stocked recently, the biggest fish I brought to hand was around 16" Most of the were little 10 inchers. Needless to say it was still fun. Water was gin clear, long leader and 6x was a must. All fish came off a midge.
I didn't notice that the water temp was any warmer then normal. I didn't take the temp but it was cold. Hope this report might help someone out. Take care and tight lines Rodney

A buddy of mine went down to our usual stomping grounds on Friday afternoon from 1:00 till 4:00, and got absolutely skunked. He said that he threw every midge in his box and BHPT's, and the result was not even a strike. He did say that the area was completely infested with carp, so I think he was just fishing in the wrong type water if there were carp around....

This was probably the case - generally if I see a ton of carp, I'm not catching many trout.
