Tying Challenge: Week 1
To kick things off I would like to see everyone's favorite (at least that you are willing to post) Little Yellow Stonefly dry fly pattern(s). For this week I'm leaving pattern choice up to you. Next week we will have a specific pattern. If you are fishing or planning on fishing in the mountains this summer you better have some Little Yellow Stonefly patterns close at hand, especially in the evenings.
Remember, this is a great opportunity to learn as well as gain feedback on your creations. This should help all of us who participate become better tiers and maybe we'll even catch more fish because of it. I hope lots of people will jump in and participate. I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has to share this week!

Well I thought there would be some lookers by now but I guess everyone is busy.Here is something to get the ball rolling.Size 16 with and without legs...................

Beautiful flies there! Do you mind sharing what the body is? Looks segmented...did you just get that with thread or something else?
Hoping to get something tied tonight although may end up being tomorrow...

There's olesmoke's "mulligan" for ya! Great lookin fly.
I've been remodeling a bathroom every night till about midnight, but i'll try to put up some pictures soon.

 I'm going to post a poor picture of an ugly fly just so more folks will post after olesmoke (nice flies). This yellow parachute is an odd Yellow Sally pattern, but when the Yellows are flying the trout tear these things up. Tad
