I had a great opportunity to spend a half day with some good friends, an outstanding dog and a great day on the water. Capt Tuck Scott, the head guide at Bay Street Outfitters in Beaufort put this video together. It was myself, Capt Tuck Scott, Capt Doug Gertis, and Doug's dog Macon. You can see who was the star of the video, go Macon.

Great video. Very well done with great quality. What kind of bird were you shooting. Marsh Hens?

Lynn,
They were marsh hens, sometimes called rails. Tuck did a great job putting everything together on that video. There were several segments in that video that were shot with an HD Hero mounted to a remote controlled boat. As you can see from the opening shot of the boat, that remote boat can really move and was keeping up with the skiff. The other ones done that way were following the dog on the retrieve, and the shot of me in the bow with the shotgun. John |

If you watch close you can see the dog flair from the remote controlled boat as she turns with the bird.
