Default Saturday on the Clinch

I was one of the few on the Clinch early Saturday morning. I hope things picked up for those of you who came after the the lunch time flow. The morning was slow but I did manage to catch a few nice ones. The first on a size 20 black zebra midge and the second on a good old San Juan.

One a side note. I fished Miller's Island and I've yet to see a Brookie this year. Is this a stocking issue or are the Brook trout just not doing well there? Seemed like last year I would catch a Brook trout on every third cast.

I hope the brook trout experiment is over. They will not be missed by me, and IMO all they did was consume food from other fish that can thrive and cost $ that TWRA doesn't have to waste on a gimmick.
