Default Anyone want to fish abrams on saturday

Hey everyone,

Justin from ohio here. I'm thinking of coming down that way this weekend but can't get any of my buds to make the trip. Wondering if there is an adventurous flyfisher out there who would want to fish the big/ or small horseshoe of abrams on saturday. not gonna do it by myself, but with the nice weather forcast could get into some serious #'s of trout.

reply if intesested or shoot me an email jbolduc@crane-tec.com

I would love to but I just realized something today. I was going this morning and when I stopped at LRO to buy my license for this year the gentleman at the counter ( My apology for not knowing his name) informed me that they are doing road maintenance in the cove and the loop rd is closed through Sunday this week. Needless to say, I got disapointed and only stoppe for an hour at West Prong of Littler River and had two small rainbows striking my fly. I missed both fish.

That mighta been me that mentioned the loop road closure - I had the wild kids that were streaking after poor Dubbin' - that cat has the long tail in a room full of rocking chairs syndrome when they're around.
I'd hope that there is a slim change of an early opener on that loop road since the weather has been so accomodating, but you can check http://nps.gov/grsm/gsmsite/roadinfo.html to be sure...

since the park often has technical difficulties with updating the website, you might call 865-430-3112 and ask for current info. anyone that answers can give you very current info on roads and trail closures.
