Default Brookies in Little River

Going to camp at Elkmont this weekend and was wondering how far I need to hike up Little River Trail to get to the Brookies. I used to catch them not too far upstream from the Goshen Prong confluence. But I haven't gotten one out of there in a couple of years. Are they higher up now?

I figure since I don't have to drive from Knoxville, I could put in a little extra walking time and try for the slam.

Well, I'm giving this a try since none of the experts on Elkmont are pitching in. I think you are about right when you say Goshen Prong. Fish Camp might have some but I have not fished the area much. I think you really need to be on Goshen to have a realistic chance. On another note, with some research on this board and others you can find a whole lot better Brookie waters with a lot less of a hike.
