Small Mouth Streamer

With a lot of talk on here about small mouth fishing, I thought I would post my favorite small mouth / anything that swims in water streamer. Very quick to tie and very effective.

2220 Daiichi Streamer hook
white thread
3mm dumbbell eyes
White rabbit fur strip
UV Pearl Ice Dub
Flashabou











I've been hoping that more folks would post some flies to tie on here so I thought I'd try to post one. Sorry about the uncropped pics and the messy fly desk.

Does the dumbell eyes make it ride upside down ? Tying a few as we speak.Be safe

I tie something similar except that I use a kink shank hook and secure the bead in the kink, it always ride point up and sinks in a "flat" manner caudsing the hair to wiggle. Catches everything too!

Gave one to Shawn Madison last week, maybe he can post a picture of it.... I don't know how to do such things.

It rides hook down just under the surface, sinks real slow, I'll use bigger dumbbell eyes if I want to fish deeper.

Hook down? You gotta be kidding. With those eyes and all the material on top, not to mention a down turn eye, I would have thought for sure it would have flipped " hook up".
