Most people would be amazed at the number of unused blasting caps I find below Coal Creek's influence in to the Clinch River.-or maybe not? Unfortunately; the Coal Creek Watershed is one of the worst runoff and polluters of the Clinch. It would be nice to see some Federal Grants get used to clean up that area and to enforce EPA Guidelines.

I have tried to convey this to my kids. I think I succeeded because when I take my grandsons fishing, they will actually pick up other people's trash and say, "Why do people do this?" I just wish everyone that uses our water would respect it.
