If anyone is up fishing Sams Creek in the next few weeks, please keep an eye out for a silver Canon ELPF 310 p&s if you can. It must have somehow slipped out of my pack when I was up there this past Sunday. More then likely it is somewhere up between the third and fifth river crossing. If you do by chance happen to come across it, please let me know and just drop it off at LRO with your name and contact info. I will mail a check out to anyone that recovers it...

I may have found your camera...





The outside is badly corroded as well as the battery. The good news is that the SD card is ok. I made a backup for you in case this one goes bad from having been water logged for so long.

Anyway, if this isn't yours, hopefully the owner will step forward so I can return it. I don't know if you want to bother with the camera itself because it is such bad shape. But I will hold it for now, just in case....

Too bad its dead. I tyhink there was also supposed to be a pic of a big rainbow a buddy of his caught.

Hey can find my gps I lost last week. It's between the tunnel and the Chimney's tops trail.

I'm guessing you found it somewhere around crossing 3

Ooh that's it for sure. I was up there with him and Wizard the day he lost it. At least he will have the pics back

Yeah, I remember hearing that - I was there that day and was going to fish Sam's a while. I turned around after making it up to the lot and seeing all the stupid cars up there. When I got home, TNFF emailed me that he had been there and it was some sort of photography club and that the 3 of you about had Sam's to yourselves!

It was in a plunge pool between crossing 3 and 4. If the water hadn't been so low, there's no way I would have seen it, and even less likely that I would have been able to get it.

I bet it has been underwater for the past 4 months....

Yeah I think my gps might be in the water as well. Can you hurry up and find it for me? If you wait 4 months, it will most likely not even matter.
I went back up the next Wed after I lost it, but no luck (at least the fishing was good)
