Had to get to the water this morning after much needed rain for our streams. As I expected the water was very stained. All were taken on a double nymph set up.

Great to see the fish still healthy despite the recent warm temperatures and low water!!!

What was the net lesson you learned in Yellowstone?

sorry for the late reply.......the more open holes in the rubber nets allow a less resistant "scoop".....which allows you to "scoop the fish"...much more quickly........in my humble opinion. of course......as compared to the "old fashioned black thread nets... not to mention the damage that they may cause to the trouts protective layer...." as taught to me by a local n.c. guide who happened to be "working" on the soda butte" at the time.....
my avatar shows the creek.......low water that time of year, but lots of 20 inch cutthroat!!!!
