Flyh2O, yes it's the Davidson River. She ain't what she use to be but it's still a pretty good fishery, with a nice family type campground. Plus I don't have to beg my parole officer to let me leave the state.

Breck, I love all kinds of fishing. My days of hiking 4 or 5 miles to fish are just about over. This area has easy access and as a result sometimes gets a little crowed on the weekends. It is easy wading, so it's a good place for kids and old farts like me. Go early or late, or during the week day if you can.
