Very Cold on Hiwassee Today

Started the morning very early and while enroute crossing the bridge a lone fly fisher already on the water.







Temp was 28 degrees when I arrived and water was 42 degrees.







Caught many today and most were on BHE nymph.

Very cool. If anyone has a map of where to fish on the Hiwassee I would appreciate it. I have camped a couple of times on some state or federal campground not to far from I75 but can't remember where it was.

I can vouch for the temperature Breck, it was a very cold morning! I brought a couple of friends down with me to fish the Wass, we had a great morning on the water! Even though the sun warmed things up, the tempurature of the beers we enjoyed on the deck afterward remained nice and cold!!!
