Yea I was really looking forward to be able to have access to some decent water about 5 minutes from the hotel. If I make it up that way for anything I'll see if that offer is still good. Now I'll be spending my free time avoiding being mugged. (BUT maybe eating some good BBQ)

One of the winter trout stocking locations is in Shelby County - Herb Parsons Lake I think. You could check the TWRA site to see if there's anything available close enough for you to try.

Looks like I'll be able to fish at Shelby Farms. They have several ponds and lakes with one being a trout pond.
Rendevous will be a destination for sure. Will probably head to Huey's for a burger at lunch as well. Food shouldn't be a problem.
