One thing another poster here reminded me of today, is that TVA is going to be fixing the weir this spring and is going to draw the lake lower so they don't run into issues if we get heavy spring rains while they can't run much water.

I think they may take the lake to around 1080 or even lower before laying off the gas, but that is just an opinion based on the weir construction.

Here is a shot from sunset on Valentine's Day 2013 at the Weir dam, uhhh.... so wading is out?

Looks like they finally are going to shut of generation tomorrow but it is in the middle of the night

One thing to note is that TVA still needs to make power and that is done during the highest usage times. Once it gets closer to the Mid-March timeline; they will have to focus on summer pool retention levels. Of-course this depends on whether or not we get any abnormal rain events.

I know I am ready for some CFS downtown to get the dust off my gear.
