Thumbs up YAHOO!! GSMNP Bound tomorrow!!!

All,

I am about to bust!! We are leaving for GSMNP Friday AM! I keep up with the fishing in the GSMNP area through this forum and love hearing about the backcountry trips.

Been tying flies for about a month in prep for this week.

One more item....I am looking to purchase some land in the GSMNP area in preparation for my retirement. Anyone have suggestions for a realtor? I am looking in either the Townsend area or the Newport area. Something outside the hussle and bussle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. My thought around Newport is we are far enough outside Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge but adjacent the I-40 corridor to Knoxville and Ashville.

I am open to whatever advice you all can provide.

thanks

My brother is a realitor in that area, and you might have read backcountry reports and seen pictures of him on this forum.

If interested you can search any of my forum backcountry reports under the userid "Mac".

If interested you can email me directly and i would be happy to pass his information along.

P.S.
I know how it is when a new trip is quickly coming. Wish i was heading that way

Shameful plug...but I have 5.10 acres with a pond in blount county seymour... good location as far as fishing, - sort of between townsend, pigeon forge, maryville/seymour and south of knoxville off hwy 411. Can be on smokey water in 30 min, 45min to the clinch...Its listed through a realtor...drop me a line if any interest. olp247 at gmail dot com
