Don't feel bad Travis. Happens every time I fish with him. The dude knows how to catch trout.

Let me know when you guys head out for your next trip. You never know... UT might be able to get by without me for a day or two.

Cheme, like the BG's. Have you had good luck wearing them. I've had mine about 2 yrs. now with no problems. Have you found a quicker way to get them than mail order from overseas?

Breck
Breck,

I like them pretty well. I have found that Marmot pants fit me much better though, and will probably buy another pair of those before I get another pair of Craghoppers. I have had mine for a couple years now, and one of my buttons actually fell off during this trip. Honestly, I bought mine at Gander Mtn on clearance, but I recently heard that Uncle Lem's in West Knoxville may be carrying them now.

I've missed the reports from you 2 lately.
Considering I only wet a line 6 times all last year, my reports probably would have put you to sleep... "How to build a dining table in 6 months", "How to change dirty diapers one handed", and the ever popular "Why go fish when you have so many other fun things to do, like rebuild the back porch?"

In all seriousness, I am planning to get out more this year than last. I just let work and too many personal projects get in the way of something productive like fishing.

It's nice to feel missed. I don't have the logical excuses that Travis has for not fishing much. I just had way too many out of state hunting trips planned last year. I needed to stay home as much as possible on weekends to stay ahead with my work and to keep my wife happy. I did do a lot of quick roadside trips. I just never wrote them up. I know folks like to read them too, but it's just not fun for me to do a write-up without some feeling of adventure.

I only have 3 trips planned for hunting this year, so that should leave me plenty of time to get into some fun fishing. Expect a few reports from me this year.

In all seriousness, I do miss yours and travis's reports. I find myself busy with a child & home repairs these days as well, although I do still find time to get out on the creeks, but I just don't take photos like I used to. I also find myself back in camp drinking beer a lot earlier in the day than I used to.
