No really nice ones but I did have a nice one on...hated to see it come off at my feet.

I forgot to ask:

Do you guys think there could be elk over near the Y at about 4000ft? I don't think so but my sister does.

Thanks for posting! That first pic looks like a pretty nice one to me

Glad you got to get out. That water still looks pretty high compared to normal

And as for the Elk. I heard of some sightings at Silers Bald last year, but nothing close to where you are talking, but you never know. Where there a bunch of tracks or could it been one of those hiking sticks that people use just to mess with you and me?

Are you local now?

It was definitely and ungulate. I will post in the "hook up" thread the next time I head up high. Rolled my ankle this time though...gonna be a bit.
