Default SW Virgina

Spent Father's day in SW VA. Had the opportunity to dangle a fly in front of a a few brookies and rainbows. Here was my best of the day:

My son caught his best ever as well:

And another for me:

Not all were so big:

10 Brookies and 2 rainbows brought to hand. Best day of Flyfishing so far.

Nice fish. Thanks for posting. The fish your son caught was definitely "speck-tacular"

Seems like you will have many "best ever" days in your near future. Just catching any fish is hard when you first start out. Then the next hurdle is being able to go out and catch a handful. Soon after you'll be after some numbers. Looks like your already most of the way there
