Default Wild trout near Bristol, TN

I have a family get together that I have planned for 29 June - 4 July. We will be staying on the South Holston river, and will do some fishing there. I have family coming in from CA and New York, as well as my children and grandchild from Beaufort, SC. Is there any small wild trout streams in this area?

Thanks,

John

Default NE Tennessee

Hi John, that part of the state has lots of great options. Here are few that you can look into. They are less than 45-50 mins from where you will be (depending on where exactly you are)

Default Laurel Fork

I also think you should try Laurel Fork! You can park at the campground and start fishing moving upstream. These are almost all brown trout from thai point up and will grab anything thing.

Check out Beaverdam creek not really a small stream but there are some smaller ones in the area. BDC fishes really well with some large browns I the mix.
