Default Just in Time

My wife insisted that I go fishing yesterday before the Park shut down. Who am I to say "No" to my wife so I reluctantly went up to Sams for a last chance trip. Didn't get up to the stream until about 2:30 and fished until 5:00 (as much time hiking almost as fishing).

I had stopped at LRO last week and gotten some Orange Wulffs, Royal Wulffs and Orange Palmers for my autumn offering. I caught fish on all three with the Orange Palmer being the most effective. The colors on the brookies were gorgeous, all dressed up in their courtship finery. My first catch of the day was an 8 incher that would knock your eyes out with it's orange trim.

Willing fish, beautiful afternoon, wonderful stream and, most importantly, an understanding wife. Great day for a farewell (hopefully short-lived) to the Park.
