Default Clinch 10/12/2013

The Smokies in parts of course are still closed to motorized traffic, the areas I like anyway. So I hit the Clinch this weekend, the morning shift was good with one 8 inch brook to hand and two caught and lost, my bad not theirs. Great color on the fish not sure if it was due to fall or wishful thinking, not an expert on spawning habits of the brook. Here's a couple of shots, you have all seen a fish so I thought I would try to show something diffrent. The lone fisherman in the picture is a member of the Clinch River Chapter TU, after we spoke and I walked downstream I got this picture, he did not see me take it, but he will know who he is if he sees this!

"Nothing straightens out my mind like a twisting mountain stream!"
