Default Triple crown saturday!

Jayson Alexander and I fished upper Walker Camp but did not see but five Brookies, so we drove over the mountain and fished Beech Flats Prong from about Kephart up to the road slide. We each had a TRIPLE CROWN day, plus more of each! We were fishing a dry on top and a nymph under. All three species were hitting on both the dry and nymph. Great day!!!!!!

I just was looking at Jayson's pictures on FB. You guys caught some beautiful fish! That slide over there is impressive when you drive over the new road. The pictures I saw when it first happened don't do it justice for sure. Thanks for the report!

Glad you got out there. Let me know if you ever need company in a remote location.

Did you get a water temp at either location? I was really surprised to see the water 8 degrees cooler at 2800 than at 2000 on Friday. Maybe it was a similar issue?

That last place you fished was really nice. I love the fact that you can catch a slam. I know some that have done that in a single pool there
