The Wooly Adelgid is what is killing the Hemlocks in the Smokies

The Emerald Ash Borer is what is killing the Ash Trees

Great post, thanks for sharing.

By the way, they pines arent being killed by Emerld Boring Beetles. We had them in Michigan eatting ash trees. The one killing pine trees are Pine Boring Beetles.

"Edit" Opps my mistake, sorry Thunderhead, I thought the dead trees were pines. Me bad.

You are absolutely right, and I actually knew that. Don't know what I was thinking. I always need coffee any more!

Now, did you know that the Great Pyramids were a mistake?! That auctioneers make lousy grocery checkout clerks? The Wolly Adelgid killed off the Wolly Mammoth?
