Default traction for boats and kayaks

Anyone use this stuff? looks like it would work well on casting decks and in kayaks. I ordered some samples.

I've never seen it but let me know what you think. Looks interesting and I need something in the yaks.

Talking

looks pretty similar to the minicell foam I use to make my foamie kayaks just probably 2-3 pound density.

If you want the nicer look of the template then it look pretty cool, otherwise, I'd just get some thin minicell foam and contact cement you some in place. I have a couple square feet I can give you if you want to give it a try on spots you normally have more contact with. I tried to make my foamies out of the 2 pound stuff, but it failed for that application and I now use 6 pound. If you are willing to cut the template out yourself and you need a bunch of foam, Harbor freight fatigue mats wouldn't be much and would work well.
