Default Re: What the heck is a Yellow Sally?

When I asked the question I figured I might get several responses with various thoughts and that is just what I wanted. It seems that a yellow body and some form of elk hair wing or even a parachute can be successful. Some may better than others but variation can make fishing more exciting. What I like most is these are what works best for you guys that fish the area a lot more than I do.

I'll be planning a trip down that way soon I hope and can try what I have and pick up a few items to tie different patterns if I like.

Thanks to all for the helpful suggestions, gary <*))))><
