dry fly wings

I was wondering if any other fly-tiers tie their dry flies with no wings. That is- just wrap hackle...no wings. I do it for the ease of tying and if you really think about it the trout cant see the wings any way...right? I believe this has not affected my catch rate at all...thats just asking me
