on that note from Sage, Ill help ya out. I fish and tie BWO alot (not on the Clinch), so from one young fisherman to another here we go. Hook- TMC 100 (size to match the hatch; 16 all around) Thread- Uni 6/0 black Tail- Dun hackle fibers (Wapsi makes some "mayfly tails" I use those (split) in dark dun on mine but classic style BWO will work just fine) Body- Superfine BWO dubbing Wings- Dun hackle tips Hackle- Dun or Dark Dun There you go; if you have any questions just ask! Thanks!! Got a question though, which is the better choice of hackle, Dun or Dark Dun? And, where did you
pick up the BWO dubbing at? |

I use dark mostly. Reg dun is best in winter and on some streams all olives are lighter. I got that dubbing at my local flyshop, but if you check Cabelas they might have it...if not there are some fly-material companies that carry superfine. MTN_TRT "LIFE IS GOOD" |
