Sipsey river, AL
Early morning on the Sipsey.........
 Pretty nice rainbow - caught on #20 elk hair  One more.........  Who says the Sipsey doesnt have good rainbow fishing?? I want to say thanks to the Riverside Fly Shop for the flies and help.

Hey BF,
Good looking fish. Were they only hitting dries, or did you not try anything down? These fish always put up a good fight too. Glad to see there's still some decent fish this late in the summer. Thanks for the report and pictures. justfishing <'))))><

I caught some on drys and some just below the surface.
The really smooth surface was my driveway after I got home......and just before that rainbow hit the frying pan on my grill!!

great pics and report.i carried my dad,brother and bro-in law(my sister just past away the 20th)to the sipsey sat.morning.dad and bro-in-law wanted to go watch and talk,my brother had been going on about how he was going to give little brother more lessons on catching fish.he went up 6-0 on me quick on a hares ear soft hackle and was rubbing it in some,i took a break,rigged 2 ft of flourocarbon and a small wd40 and wound up with about 25 to his 12.fun day fishing and i caught the biggest i`ve caught on the sipsey,15incher.sorry no pics,he`s still swimming.
