Default Tip Top Repair

Need some help. Broke the tip off a custom made rod with no warranty so I need to replace the tip top. How do I determine what size replacement to order and what type of measurement is needed. Thanks.

The blank isn't covered by warranty? Take it by your nearest flyshop that carries rod building supplies & slip a new one on to fit, you'll want a tad bit of play for some glue, don't force a new tip on..

Try to mesure with a gauge sold at hardware stores. It is a little plastic device with numerous holes in it labeled with different diameter size. This device is made to measure diameter of drill bits. It should run you about two dollars. Then get some tip top adhesive which can be bought at any sporting goods store.
