Default SoHo on fire this past weekend!

Greetings all,
Just had a great weeked of camping and fishing the Watauga and South Holston with a group that gets together about twice a year...All I have to say is the SoHo was on fire... Friday afternoon they were feeding mad on BWO and sulphurs - they were so keyed up that I was broke off by several large fish and ended up depleting my suppy of Olives and Sulphur parachutes, so I grabbed the next size thing I had, a Thunderhead - didn't seem to make a difference that the hatch wasn't being matched, they tore into that fly just the same...when the fish were not rising, you couldn't keep them off a small #22 bead head zebra - dropped fom a pheasant tail, they took the zebra everytime...we were pulling fish on every other cast, sight fishing feeders, and having a blast pulling upteen fish from 8" - 16" the same hole with some bigger ones that spooked too easy... it almost wasn't sporting, but sure was alotta fun...but the soho (or any tailwater for that matter) can be on one day and off the next...this weekend it was definately on...
May you find a rise in every puddle... - WATERBORN
