Got up real early this morning to fish in the park. As I drove through Townsend, the rising sun filled the sky with an stunning array of pink and orange. It was a beautiful dirve in. I fished Tremont for a few hours with a BH pheasant tail and only caught 6 small rainbows. I headed into Gatlinburg aroiund noon to grab some lunch. Then I went back into the park for some small stream fishing. Found a golden little stream not too far from Gatlinburg that was packed with bows. I must have caught 25 fish in the 2.5 hours. I was using a yellow stim with a #18 copper john as a trailer. All the fish were caught on the dry, except for 2. Here are a couple of pics from my trip.

Beautiful pics and sounds like you had yourself a great day! Any day out on the water is better than a good day at work!

I forgot to add. I received a baptism this morning up at Tremont. Boy, that water sure is cold. It took my breath away for a good 15 secs. Oh well, my camera is ok. Thats the first time I've taken a plunge while fishing... it was bound to happen sooner or later.

Congrats on a good day and thanks for the pics.
Trout on a dry fly- nothing better. Cold mountain stream baptism- a rite of passage... DryFly1
