New to the site... googled 'trout fishing in the smokies' and this was the best site so for that came up
![]() Looking for suggestions on a 2 bedroom cabin, maybe a guide for half-day fishing and hope to find something close by the store. Live north of Huntsville AL, and would like to make a trip the east TN area. And here is your gift if you have not seen this video before of a brown eating another trout: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-RIEnILi-Q

Welcome aboard and thanks for the link! That is a cool video. It always amazes me how greedy browns can get... As ttas67 said, check with Little River Outfitters about a guide. They have several of the best and can set you up with an awesome trip.

Kriscad,
Welcome to the message board and site. *Also, thanks for the web server information. *There are several cabin rental companies here in Townsend. *To get a complete list visit: *smokymountains.org *I tried to post a link but it didn't work for me on Internet Explorer. Comes up fine on my Mac. We can refer you to some guides, call Daniel or Paula at the shop toll free: *877-448-3474 Please PM or post your music site. *I'd be interested in seeing it. *I checked the link you gave us for the web hosting. *Very interesting. *I'll check them out. Thanks for your help. Byron

kriscad,
We are about a mile and a half from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains. That's wild trout fishing. Dancing Bear Lodge is about 2 miles the other direction from our shop. Puts you about 3.5 to 4 miles from the Park entrance. However, across the road from Dancing Bear is the Little River in town which is stocked with trout in the early Spring and it fishes pretty good until July. Dancing Bear is a nice place, we know the owners and would highly recommend them. A couple of miles is no big deal here. We don't have much traffic. Speed limit is 45 and only one stoplight between DB and GSM Park. Byron
