New to the site... googled 'trout fishing in the smokies' and this was the best site so for that came up

Looking for suggestions on a 2 bedroom cabin, maybe a guide for half-day fishing and hope to find something close by the store. Live north of Huntsville AL, and would like to make a trip the east TN area.

By the way, how for is Dancing Bear Lodge from you and the fishing?

We are about a mile and a half from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains. That's wild trout fishing. Dancing Bear Lodge is about 2 miles the other direction from our shop. Puts you about 3.5 to 4 miles from the Park entrance. However, across the road from Dancing Bear is the Little River in town which is stocked with trout in the early Spring and it fishes pretty good until July. Dancing Bear is a nice place, we know the owners and would highly recommend them. A couple of miles is no big deal here. We don't have much traffic. Speed limit is 45 and only one stoplight between DB and GSM Park.
