Well this was the first time for me to try the clinch. Got to the weir dam before daylight and was rigged up and in the water at 7:20 and let me tell you it was freezing. I dont like to wear gloves so I brought a couple of hot hands along, and they were a life saver. Started throwing a streamer and landed my first brown. After throwing the streamer I swithced to a double nymph rig with a bead head pheasant tail followed by the smallest midge I could find. I ended up catching four more small fish all browns and all on the small midge. I then switched back to the streamer and had two hits that I actually saw the fish afterwards and they both were nice fish. All together I had a great day on the water and I had the river all to myself until about 9:15 and really enjoyed the river. Here are a couple of photos to round it out.
