Default browns and brookies in the sipsey?

I heard today from a guy that lives in Jasper and he said the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division is going to start stocking browns and brookies in the sipsey along with their regular stocking of rainbows.

Can anyone confirm this?

thanks

there was a meeting this past week with ala. power, fish and game folks and two reps from the TU group from around here discussing some issues and there was a mention about stocking browns.i have been hearing this lately anyway but nothing about brookies.discussed uping min. flow, access points, catch and release, and flyfish only zones, erosion problems and so on.sounds like it was a good meeting.talked about improving the whole river thing and discussed economic impact it might have for the whole community.for any more info, talk with brandon at the flyshop.
