Well, I may reconsider my trip this weekend. The weather looks absolutely terrible. It's very indicative of my luck that Byron would say in his report, "But get ready, it may be on the verge of breaking loose February 20th" when you consider that I have to come home on the 19th. I can take bad weather, but I'd at least like the hope of a fish. Of course it still looks like I might have a shot at some nice snow photos on Saturday. I guess it depends on how I feel when I get up in the morning. I hope my bad luck hasn't sabotaged the weekend plans of any other fishermen
Take care,hawgdaddy

Ok, I have officially chickened out on my trip this weekend. I guess I'll spend the time tying flies and hiking around home. I can't see making the four hour drive just to freeze, not catch anything, and sit around hoping for a good snow photo opportunity. Plus I would have been solo, which deprives me of the pleasure of conversation around the camp fire. I have another long weekend in two weeks. Maybe the weather and fish will be more agreeable then. If you go fishing this weekend, bundle up and laugh about hawgdaddy being a wimp and staying home. Take care,
hawgdaddy
