just ordered dyna king vise thru LRO and now want to make my own portable tying tray/bench. Probably something like the oasis models out there, but was wondering what some of your suggestions on designs/materials/options might be. Wood frame? White base? Giraffe type light and magnafier? What are your thoughts, help me out all of you experienced tyiers.......

i'd like to make me one of these as well. unfortunately I live in a small downtown apartment with no tools or room for woodworking. I sit on my bed and tie on my nightstand with my table lamp for light. when I move in a few months, I'm going to set up some kind of fly tying station. check around on the web, I've looked and found many pics/examples of what other people have built.

been looking at several models for ideas, I think I have a rough model in my mind. I want to go with a white work area due to my vision.....
